Michael Farrow's Building where Flexibility in Flight resides

Art in the Heart of Historic Downtown Chester NY.

The building in which Flexibility in Flight resides was built in the 1880′s as Thompson’s Hardware Store, later changed to Chester hardware Store which it remained for quite sometime.

In 1995 Mr. Farrow became the 4th owner of the building, and introduced Chester to his gallery known as MG Galleries.  Over the years he expanded into antiques, café, and tea rooms, and fine arts;  maintaining the interior and integrity of the original hardware store.

In 2007, Chester Hardware saw its biggest change in 100 years!  Mr. Farrow designed a beautiful dance studio, then  to a yoga studio 6 days a week, and Mondays were Rented to Flexibility in Flight, the Very First Aerial Silks to be introduced into Orange County, NY..and also the first in all of the Hudson Valley.

Flexibility grew quickly, and soon expanded its own 7 day a week studio in February of 2013.  In June, Flexibility in flight expanded again, this time opening the First and Only Outdoor Performance Area/Studio called the Silk Deck.

Flexibility in Flight now offers 22 silks at all different heights–we have something for everyone.  we have 8 foot , 12 ft, 14 ft and 16 foot silks, including Spin Tissue Silks.
